We are three games into spring training and the Orioles are 1-3. The record isn’t important right now so we’ll take a look at how some prospects are playing:
- Josh Bell: He’s hit two home runs so far, one from each side of the plate, which is an encouraging sign.
- Matt Angle: Angle has mainly been used as a pinch runner and has hit .200 in 5 at-bats.
- Brandon Snyder: Snyder is 0 for 3 so far.
- Pedro Florimon Jr.: He’s hit .250 in 4 at-bats.
- Brandon Erbe: He was hit pretty hard in his apperance against the Tigers, giving up 3 ER in one inning.
- Brian Matusz: He was brilliant in his only appearance, registering all 4 outs on K’s.
- Jake Arrieta: Allowed 1 ER, 2 BB and 1 H in his only appearance so far.
- Luis Lebron: Lebron made one appearance against the Pirates and struck out 2 batters.
MASN will televise the Orioles spring training game against the Boston Red Sox tomorrow at 1:05 PM ET.

I’m still messing with the new design so you’ll see a lot of changes throughout the week. The old design required a lot more editing than I had time for. This design should allow me to bring you better coverage.
In about two weeks I’ll be sending out the first edition of my newsletter, which will be sent out every two weeks. You can sign up for it here.
